Child Exposure Hair Follicle Drug Test
Comprehensive drug testing from hair follicles
Service Description
Enviromental Exposure Hair Follicle Testing is a specialized forensic drug testing solution designed to detect passive exposure to illicit substances in children. Unlike traditional drug tests that only identify drug ingestion, this test can detect both native drugs (non-metabolized substances) and drug metabolites in hair samples—providing a comprehensive view of environmental exposure. Key Features: Passive Exposure Detection: Identifies contact with drug smoke, skin oils (sebum or sweat) of drug users, or direct contact with drugs. Dual Detection Capability: Reports positive results for either native drugs or drug metabolites, offering insight into both exposure and ingestion. Extended Detection Window: Hair samples can reveal exposure over the past 90 days, making it ideal for long-term environmental assessments. Non-Invasive Collection: Hair sampling is simple, painless, and suitable for all ages. Court-Admissible Results: Testing follows strict forensic standards and chain-of-custody protocols, ensuring legal defensibility. No Age Restrictions: Applicable for infants, children, and adults alike. Common Use Cases: Child welfare investigations Custody disputes Substance abuse monitoring in homes Legal proceedings involving drug-endangered individuals
